Earmor M51 Tactical PTT Midland

A button you can reach without looking. That is the only thing you ask of a PTT, and it is the reason why you remote it rather than leaving it on the radio.

The connector

Version with a Midland connector, for radios from that brand. Pinouts differ from one manufacturer to another and are not interchangeable: check your radio's socket.

What it does

It is an external PTT module for active and communication headsets. It allows you to transmit without handling the portable radio, which can remain stowed and protected throughout the operation.

Where to place it

A loop attaches it anywhere on your gear. The right spot depends on what you are holding in your hands: on a vest strap for standard use, or higher or lower depending on your working position.

Construction

High-quality polymers and metal alloys, compact size. Robust by necessity: it is the most exposed part of the communication chain.
