The Field version of the E&E pouch, in infrared-treated PL Woodland camouflage. This is a timeless classic, adapted from a British Special Forces model and revised. Two liters for survival and bushcraft gear, a canteen, or rations. A rear sheath accommodates a folding saw, knife, or small axe. MOLLE/PALS mounting. Field items, in PL Woodland camouflage, are NIR-treated, also known as IRR: the fabrics and visible components are selected to absorb, reflect, and transmit near-infrared radiation in the same way as forest undergrowth, which reduces the silhouette's contrast under night vision devices. Every material is tested by spectrophotometer in the lab and in the field.
