Clawgear United Nations Patch
Here, color is not decorative: it is the function. The UN blue is a recognized identification marker, which is why this patch only exists in a colored version.
Why no discreet version
Most patches in the series come in Desert and RAL7013 to blend in with the uniform. This one doesn't - and that's consistent: a marker whose whole purpose is to be seen and recognized would lose its meaning in low visibility.
A service patch, not a flag
It designates neither a country nor a region, but an affiliation with an international organization. It is the most specific of the three types of markers in the range - national flag, regional emblem, service patch.
A fine motif on a solid background
The emblem is based on a delicate design - a projection of the globe and an olive wreath - set on a solid blue background. These are precisely the features that embroidery turns into blobs when it is reduced in size. The high-resolution weaving keeps them distinct.
The velcro does not damage the base layers
The hook in this series only adheres to female velcro surfaces: neither knitted meshes nor sewing threads are damaged.
