Clawgear
Clawgear Tyrol Shield Patch
The arms of Tyrol bear an eagle. This is the most demanding motif in the coat of arms series: a bird's silhouette with feathers, talons, and a beak, reduced to a few square centimeters.
Why an eagle is difficult
A geometric coat of arms consists of clear areas: bands, crosses, divisions. A heraldic eagle, however, is made of fine lines and irregular cuts - the outline of the wings, the layering of the feathers, the opening of the beak.
In embroidery, these fine lines close in on each other and the bird becomes a blotch. High-resolution weaving integrates the design into the weave and keeps each line distinct, including in monochrome versions where the drawing alone carries the information.
Three versions
Multicolor for heraldic colors, Desert and RAL7013 for two low-visibility treatments.
