Clawgear
Clawgear Sweden Flag Patch
The Nordic cross is not centered. It is offset towards the hoist, and it is precisely this offset that makes this design difficult to reproduce neatly in a small format.
Why geometry matters here
A centered cross is forgiving: the eye doesn't look for a reference point. An offset cross requires an exact proportional relationship between the four fields it divides. If the vertical arm shifts by a millimeter, the imbalance is immediately noticeable.
High-resolution weaving places the lines precisely, thread by thread, and maintains a consistent thickness along the entire length of the arms – something that embroidery, which stacks threads, cannot guarantee.
Three versions
Multicolor for the true blue and yellow, Desert and RAL7013 for two monochrome treatments that preserve the design without creating contrast on the uniform.
Velcro preserves what's underneath
The hook side of this series only attaches to female Velcro surfaces: neither knitted meshes nor sewing threads are damaged.
