Clawgear
Clawgear Styria Shield Patch
A shield shape, not a rectangle. This is what distinguishes this patch from the flag patches in the series: the very shape of the patch is that of a heraldic shield.
Styria
Styria is one of Austria's nine federal states – Clawgear's country of origin. It's a regional marker, not a national one: it's for those who want to display a more precise affiliation than a flag.
The cut-out format demands precision
On a rectangular patch, the edge is straight and forgiving. On a shield outline, the slightest irregularity in cutting or bordering is visible across the entire silhouette. The heraldic motif, meanwhile, requires the resolution of weaving – embroidery would close off fine details.
Three versions
Multicolor for heraldic colors, Desert and RAL7013 for a low-visibility version.
Velcro does not damage underlayers
The hook on this series only attaches to female velcro surfaces and does not attack knitted meshes or sewing threads.
