Clawgear Sniper Boonie Hat

A boonie that ventilates all around, and onto which vegetation can be attached. The Sniper Boonie Hat takes the classic bush hat shape and adds what lower-end models lack.

Ventilation

A mesh panel goes all the way around the crown. Heat and moisture exit continuously, instead of accumulating under a closed hat. This is the difference you feel after three hours in the sun.

Loop Straps

Peripheral straps sewn onto the crown and brim, with storage loops. They are used to attach small equipment, or to insert vegetation to break up the silhouette.

Retention

The head circumference is adjusted by an external drawstring. A chin cord prevents the hat from flying off in the wind or during movement. The brim is stiff, it keeps its shape instead of sagging over the eyes.

Marking

Velcro tabs on the top, center, and back allow for attaching an IFF indicator or a V-LITE.

Fabric

50% cotton and 50% polyester blend: comfortable to wear and quick-drying.
