Clawgear Small Horizontal Utility Pouch Core
The flattest of the three Core utility pouches. Only four centimeters deep, it sits flush against a plate carrier without creating bulk that interferes with shouldering.
What the dimensions say
17 x 13 x 4 cm, or about 0.88 liter. A generous surface area for minimal thickness: this is the format for flat items - notebook, documents, thin kit, gloves, mask.
The zip opens from both sides
The zipper is two-way: you open it from the side of your free hand, or you partially open it from the middle to access items without unpacking everything. The sliders are protected by flaps cut from the base material, so they don't snag or open on their own.
Two compartments, not one
The flat inner pocket, which separates small items from the main volume.
The zipped front pocket, accessible without opening the main pocket - for what you take out most often.
Core Range
The Core line uses classic sewn PALS webbing construction, whereas the LC line uses laser-cut laminate. More robust in use, slightly thicker.

Small Vertical (12 x 10 x 6 cm, 0.72 L) for thick items in a compact space.
Medium Horizontal (24.5 x 17 x 5 cm, 2.08 L) when you need more than double the volume.
