Why it changes everything

A sewn-on patch endures every washing machine cycle: threads loosen, colors fade, edges fray. Here, you remove the patch, wash the garment, then reattach it. The patch only ages with use, not with washing.

The weaving serves the same purpose: no raised embroidery where abrasion wears down protruding threads.

The Slovenian motif

Three horizontal stripes and a coat of arms placed in the upper left, straddling two of them. It's a detailed emblem on a small surface – the kind of motif that the high resolution of weaving keeps legible where embroidery would obscure it.
