Clawgear Rapax Softshell Jacket

The Rapax without a hood, replaced with a medium stand-up collar. Less bulk at the nape of the neck when wearing a helmet or backpack, and a more understated look for civilian use.

The Fabric

Lightweight softshell, double-weave with two-way stretch. Designed as a mid-layer, with a moderately fitted cut.

The Closure

YKK Vislon front zipper, lined with a windproof coated microfleece flap that extends into a chin guard. This is where wind typically enters most jackets; this one is addressed.

Five Pockets

• 2 zippered hand-warmer pockets
• 1 zippered left chest pocket
• 1 zippered pocket on the upper left arm
• 1 zippered internal right pocket

Velcro panels on both arms for patches.

Finishing Details

Seamless gusset under the arms, pre-shaped sleeves, Velcro-adjustable cuffs, hem drawcord housed in the pockets.
