Clawgear NKDA Patch
NKDA means "No Known Drug Allergies": no known drug allergies. This is a standard medical abbreviation, and this patch exists so that a first responder can read it without having to ask the question.
A patch for someone else
Unlike an identification or novelty patch, this one isn't for you. It's for the person caring for you when you can no longer respond. It only fulfills its function if it is visible from the outside and consistent with the rest of your medical information.
Woven, not embroidered
Embroidery stacks thread and rounds characters. Weaving allows for much finer resolution: a short text remains clear and legible even in a small format. On a patch whose only content is written information, this is crucial.
Velcro doesn't damage underlayers
The hook on this series only attaches to female Velcro surfaces. It doesn't snag knitted stitches or sewing threads - an aggressive hook eventually ruins a base layer or fleece over time with rubbing.
Colors
Two colors: Desert and RAL7013.
