Clawgear
Clawgear Netherlands Flag Patch
Woven, not molded. This is the technical choice that separates this series from rubber patches, and the two do not behave in the same way at all.
Woven vs. Rubber
Woven is soft, thin, and light. It conforms to a curved surface, passes under a strap without creating a hard spot, and is unnoticeable when worn. On the other hand, it gets dirty like fabric.
Rubber, made of molded PVC, is rigid and embossed. It is water-resistant, cleans with a wipe, and can feature pronounced reliefs - but it remains flat and stiff, and forms a plate where it is applied.
On a flat, low-stress area, both are suitable. On a sleeve, a cap, or under a strap, woven is significantly more comfortable.
Three Horizontal Stripes
Red, white, blue. The central white stripe is where the manufacturing quality is judged: woven flat, it does not pick up relief and does not collect dust like embroidery would.
Three Versions
Multicolor for real colors, Desert and RAL7013 for low visibility.
Velcro does not damage underlayers
The hook on this series only adheres to female Velcro surfaces and does not destroy knitted meshes or stitching threads.
