Clawgear
Clawgear Mk.II Operator Combat Pants
The knee pad height is adjusted from the inside. This is what separates combat pants from tactical pants: the protection is placed exactly where your knee touches the ground, not where the pattern designer sewed it.
Why this adjustment exists
Two people with the same waist size do not have the same femur length. A permanently sewn-in knee pad will be too high for one, too low for the other – and a misplaced knee pad offers no protection. Here, the internal compartment is height-adjustable.
Stretch zones
Stretch elements are integrated into the construction, not added on. Combined with the new cut, these allow for deep squats, high strides, and obstacle crossing without the pants restricting movement.
Designed for safety belts
The waist is optimized for Rigger Belts and Safety Belts – wide and rigid belts that, on ordinary pants, deform the belt loops and compress the pockets. The waist adjustment system accommodates them.
Reduced infrared signature
The fabric treatment limits the IR signature. Under night vision observation, the garment does not stand out from the background as an untreated textile would.
Construction
Main seams with triple stitching – those that fail first on heavily used pants. Revised pocket concept. Knee pads available as an option, sold separately.
