Clawgear Merino Low Cut / Ankle Socks

A low-cut sock with knitted cushioning, not added padding. The Merino Low Cut sock features different structures depending on the area of the foot, instead of applying the same knit throughout.

Cushioning zones

A 3D knit structure is placed at the heel, toes, and under the sole of the foot. It acts as a cushion in these three impact areas, without adding bulk where the shoe is already snug.

The rest of the foot breathes

Elsewhere, the construction uses a more open mesh to support foot climate. This zoning is what distinguishes a technical sock from a thick sock.

Merino and nylon

Merino wool warms, resists odors, and absorbs moisture without giving the sensation of a wet foot. Nylon provides wear resistance and quick drying. On a sock, this latter point determines its lifespan.

Seamless

Seamless circular knit construction: nothing rubs against the toes, which is the primary cause of blisters during prolonged walking.

Available in Black and Green, in 36-38, 39-41, 42-44, and 45-47. A crew-cut version, the Merino Crew, is also available.
