Clawgear Merino Crew Socks

The crew-cut version of the Clawgear merino sock, designed to go under combat boots. The crew height covers the area where the boot shaft rubs against the calf, which a low-cut sock would leave exposed.

Cushioning Zones

A 3D knit structure is placed at the heel, toes, and under the sole of the foot, where it acts as a cushion. Elsewhere, the knit transitions to a more open construction to allow the foot to breathe. It's this zoning that makes all the difference on a long march.

Merino and Nylon

Merino wool provides warmth, is naturally odor-resistant, and wicks away moisture without giving the sensation of a wet foot. Nylon provides wear resistance and quick drying. For a sock worn in a boot, these are exactly the two properties that matter.

Seamless

Seamless circular knit: nothing rubs against the toes, which is the primary cause of blisters during prolonged walking.

Available in Black and Green, in 36-38, 39-41, 42-44, and 45-47. A low-cut version, the Merino Low Cut, is also available.
