Clawgear Lynx Fleece Hoody

A fleece that can be worn alone or as a second layer. The Lynx Fleece Hoody is designed for versatility: equipped enough to serve as a jacket in dry weather, thin enough to slip under an outer layer without hindrance.

The Polartec

The fabric is a Polartec fleece, offering moderate thermal retention. This is a deliberate choice: a fleece that is too warm becomes unusable as soon as you move, and impossible to layer. This one leaves room for maneuver.

Three details that separate a good fleece from an ordinary one

The drawstrings are on the inside. The hood can be adjusted at two points from the inside, and the hem drawstring is hidden in the pocket. Nothing protrudes, nothing gets caught under a harness or strap.

The wind doesn't pass through the zipper. A coated micro-fleece strip, placed behind the Vislon zipper, blocks the air that usually seeps in along the teeth. It extends into a chin guard on the collar.

The cuffs are extended. Thin but resistant knitted sleeves, with thumb loops, keep the wrist and back of the hand warm. This is almost always missing when wearing short gloves.
