Clawgear Carinthia Shield Patch

With Carinthia, all nine Austrian federal states are now available. Clawgear covers the entire federation, with one patch per state.

The complete series

At €6.90: Carinthia (this one), Lower Austria, Styria, Tyrol, and Vorarlberg.
At €7.90: Burgenland, Upper Austria, Salzburg, and Vienna.

Same shield format, same woven construction, same three colors for all. The price does not reflect a difference in quality between the patches.

Carinthia

It is Austria's southernmost federal state, bordering Italy and Slovenia, and the only one to touch two southern countries. This connection is not reflected in the Austrian flag.

The shield format is unforgiving

On a rectangular patch, a straight edge goes unnoticed. On a shield outline, the slightest irregularity in the cut or border is visible across the entire silhouette. This is the format where finish is judged the quickest – and the selling point of this woven series.
