Clawgear France Flag Patch
Three versions, three truly different uses. It's not a matter of taste: each treatment meets a specific need.
Multicolor: for identification
Blue, white, red in their true colors. This version is readable from a distance and fulfills the primary function of a national marker: to tell someone who doesn't know you who you are. In a group, during exercise, or on the move, this is the one that works best.
Desert and RAL7013: to remain legible without drawing attention
The same pattern rendered in monochrome. The flag remains perfectly identifiable up close, but ceases to be a bright spot of color on the silhouette. This is the choice for service attire where the patch needs to be present without attracting the eye.
The reflex of having two copies
Many people own both a colored version and a discreet version, and switch them depending on the context. At €6.90 each, and with Velcro fastening, changing them takes three seconds – which is precisely what this system is for.
The vertical tricolor is demanding
Two dividing lines that must be straight, parallel, and equidistant. High-resolution weaving makes them sharp; embroidery, which stacks thick threads, leaves them jagged.
The central white stripe is the real litmus test: woven flat, it doesn't gain relief or collect dust like embroidery would.
Velcro does not damage underlayers
The hook on this series only adheres to female Velcro surfaces and does not damage knitted fabrics or sewing threads.
