Clawgear
Clawgear Denmark Flag Patch
The Dannebrog is reputed to be the oldest national flag still in use. Its off-center cross served as a model for all subsequent Scandinavian flags.
A design that set a trend
The Nordic cross - a vertical arm shifted towards the hoist - originated here. Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Iceland subsequently adopted it, each with its own colors. To wear the Danish flag is to wear the original.
What this changes in manufacturing
Such an old design is also a refined one: a cross, two colors, no extraneous details. On a patch, this simplicity is an advantage - there's nothing that can close up or become blurry, even in monochrome versions where the design alone carries the information.
What remains critical is the geometry: the thickness of the arms must be constant and the offset exact. High-resolution weaving places the lines thread by thread.
Three versions
Multicolor for the actual red and white, Desert and RAL7013 for two low-visibility treatments.
Velcro does not damage underlayers
The hook on this series only adheres to female Velcro surfaces and does not damage knitted meshes or sewing threads.
