Clawgear
Clawgear Austrian Army Patch
It's not a flag. A service patch designates a force; a flag designates a country. The distinction is clear, and it changes what the patch says about the wearer.
Flag, Regional Crest, Service Patch
The flag indicates nationality – information shared by millions.
The regional crest indicates origin, more specifically.
The service patch indicates affiliation with an organization. It is the most specific of the three.
On a single Velcro patch area, these three markers are not cumulative: you must choose what you display.
The Bundesheer
This is the name of the Austrian armed forces. As Clawgear is an Austrian brand, this patch is part of its core catalog – just like its nine provincial crests.
Two Treatments, No Color Version
Desert and RAL7013 only. The positioning is consistent with the nature of the product: a service marker is worn on field attire, not as a decorative display.
Woven, Not Embroidered
Institutional text must remain legible, even when reduced and rendered in monochrome. Embroidery thickens lines and closes letters; high-resolution weaving preserves their design.
Velcro Respects Textiles
The hook on this series only adheres to female Velcro surfaces and does not damage meshes or seams.
