Clawgear Basic T-shirt

Sixty percent cotton, forty percent polyester. This ratio is the whole point of the garment: enough cotton for skin contact, enough synthetic so that sweat wicks away.

Why not 100% cotton

An all-cotton t-shirt is comfortable until it gets damp – then it stays wet, sticks and cools. An all-synthetic t-shirt dries quickly but doesn't feel as good directly against the skin. The 60/40 blend aims for the useful middle ground for a base layer worn all day.

Moderately fitted cut

Neither tight nor loose. This cut fits under a combat shirt or plate carrier without creasing, and is still wearable on its own.

Crew neck

A classic crew neck, which doesn't show above a shirt collar and doesn't interfere under a helmet strap or neck gaiter.

Long sleeve version

The same garment is available in long sleeves under the name Basic Tee LS, at €25.90.
