Clawgear
Clawgear Backward Flap Pistol Mag Pouch
The inverted flap, applied to the pistol magazine pouch. Same logic as on the rifle versions of the range, in a compartment sized for double-stack magazines.
The inverted flap
It allows instant switching between a secure magazine under the flap and a fully open pouch. The flap lowers effortlessly, clearing the magazine without a cord or piece of fabric obstructing the grip.
Protection against snatching
The construction covers the magazine without showing how to release it. For someone attempting to grab it, the motion is not obvious, whereas it is for the wearer who knows the pouch.
