Clawgear Audax Softshell Jacket

The hoodless version of the Audax. An intermediate stand-up collar instead: less bulk under a helmet or harness, and a cleaner silhouette for civilian use.

Softshell construction

Two-layer laminated softshell: abrasion-resistant RipStop nylon exterior with a water-repellent treatment, fleece interior. The fabric partially blocks wind while remaining breathable. Rain beads on the surface, excess heat escapes. It's an outer layer, not a waterproof shell.

Freedom of movement

Four-way stretch fabric, seamless underarm gussets, slightly pre-shaped sleeves. Nothing pulls when you raise your arms.

The detail behind the zipper

The Vislon front zip is lined inside with a windproof microfleece strip, which blocks air infiltrating along the teeth and extends up into a chin guard on the collar.

Five pockets

• 2 handwarmer pockets with concealed zippers
• 2 zippered arm pockets with Velcro patches for insignia
• 1 zippered left internal pocket with cable outlet

The hem adjustment cord is housed inside the pockets, so nothing hangs loose.

Available in Black and RAL 7013, in S, M, and 2XL. Moderately fitted cut.
