Clawgear 0 Neg Bloodgroup Patch
O negative is the universal red blood cell donor. It's the group emergency services use when a transfusion is needed before the patient's blood type can be determined.
A patch not for your own use
Like the NKDA patch, this one exists to be read by someone else, at a time when you can no longer respond. It only fulfills its function if it is visible from the outside, accurate, and consistent with the rest of your medical information.
A patch remains an indication on equipment, not a medical document: it does not exempt from any formal verification.
Legibility is the sole function
On a patch whose content is limited to two characters, there is no margin for error. Embroidery thickens lines and can close a zero; high-resolution weaving maintains a clear design. A poorly formed "0" and "D" are not confused when the character is clean.
Two discreet treatments
Desert and RAL7013. Medical patches in this series are not offered in bright colors: they blend into the outfit while remaining legible up close.
Velcro does not damage underlayers
The hook on this series only attaches to female Velcro surfaces - neither knitted meshes nor sewing threads are damaged.
