Cleaning an optic with the hem of a t-shirt is the best way to scratch an anti-reflective coating. This 18 × 18 cm cloth is made of tightly woven microfiber, 85% polyester and 15% nylon: it removes grease marks and dust without damaging the layers applied to the lenses. It is suitable for eyeglasses, binoculars, rifle scopes, red dots, night vision devices, and phone screens. It comes in a case that protects it from moisture and dust in your bag, because a dirty cloth becomes an abrasive. A cord loop allows it to be attached to a bag, a garment, or a binocular case, within easy reach.
