The Numbat Small is the smaller version of the chest bag in the range, for those seeking something lighter and more compact. Two and a half liters worn on the chest, accessible without setting anything down. The front features MOLLE/PALS webbing, with perforations that allow for securing attached items, plus a flat zippered pocket and a hook-and-loop panel. New to this model: by detaching the straps and stowing the buckles, it becomes a fanny pack, which is invaluable for travel. The back is velvet-lined to accommodate VIS inserts, and the map panel detaches to be carried separately. The minimalist shoulder straps do not interfere with backpack straps.
