The Numbat Small is the scaled-down version of the chest pack in the range, for those seeking something lighter and more compact. Two and a half liters worn on the chest, accessible without setting anything down. The front features MOLLE/PALS webbing with perforations that allow you to secure what you attach, plus a flat zippered pocket and a hook-and-loop panel. New on this model: by detaching the shoulder straps and tucking away the buckles, it becomes a waist pack, which is valuable when traveling. The back is lined with velour to accommodate VIS inserts, and the map pocket panel is detachable so it can be carried on its own. The minimalist shoulder straps do not interfere with those of a backpack.
