Expander folding camping chair
The problem with a camp chair isn't comfort, it's the volume it takes up once the vehicle is loaded. The Expander offers a solution with a telescopic frame: when folded, it shrinks to 61 mm thick by 444 x 417 mm, making it easy to slide behind a seat or against a panel. Once unfolded, you have a proper seat 432 mm off the ground, supported by a black epoxy steel frame and 600D polyester fabric. Load capacity is 115 kg, with a weight of 4.1 kg on the scale.
Highlights
- 61 mm thick when folded: slips behind a seat instead of taking up trunk space
- 432 mm seat height: a proper chair height, not a low stool
- 115 kg load capacity: the value stated by the manufacturer
- Epoxy steel and 600D polyester: a structure built to last outdoors
