For centuries, humans have carried their essential gear in a leather, then canvas, satchel. This was called a haversack. This one appears simple at first glance, but it is actually a refined piece from the Bushcraft line. Nine liters for a water bottle, food, and fire-starting essentials. The flap closes with a classic 80s British buckle, designed for one-handed operation. The front pocket accommodates VIS system inserts, the sides hold an axe, saw, or knife, and the MOLLE/PALS straps accommodate the rest. The 50mm shoulder strap distributes the load without digging into the shoulder.
