Two materials, each in its place

The back is made of ULTRAcomp laminate that runs under the pouch and up the front, where it experiences friction. The rest of the body is made of 500D Cordura.

Placing laminate at high-wear points rather than everywhere is what allows for weight reduction without sacrificing service life.

Retention

An elastic cord wraps around the pouch and holds one or two M4 magazines, polymer or metal, without any rattling noise.

Opening with gloves

A nitrile ball is sewn into the flap: the BLIP system. It provides a tactile stop for your fingers, allowing for consistent opening with cold, wet, or gloved hands, or in the dark.

Patented Helium Whisper attachment system, MOLLE compatible. Magazines not included.
