Blue Force Gear
Blue Force Gear Flapped Ten-Speed M4 Two Mag Pouch
Two M4 magazines, each under its own flap. The retention of a closed pouch, the low profile of a Ten-Speed.
The flap
An adjustable elastic flap covers the top of the compartment and secures onto a hook-and-loop strip on the front of the pouch. This is what sets it apart from an open Ten-Speed: the magazine can no longer come out on its own.
And if you don't want it, the flap can be removed - from one compartment, several, or all of them. You are then back to a classic open Ten-Speed pouch.
The elastic
Military-grade elastic, in service for over ten years. When empty, the pouch remains flat, the thickness of a coin according to the manufacturer: nothing to snag on.
Where it comes from
The Ten-Speed was designed for confined spaces - buses, trains, watercraft - where a protruding pouch becomes a problem. Hence the design philosophy: a pouch you forget you're wearing.
This version holds two magazines. Magazines not included.
