The light stick is the only light source that never runs out of batteries and poses no fire risk. You bend the tube, the internal glass capsule breaks, the two liquids mix, and the chemical reaction produces light. Fifteen centimeters, twenty-one grams, single-use. The uses are well known: marking a rally point, marking a path at night, signaling a position, or lighting the inside of a tent without a flame. The infrared color deserves a mention: invisible to the naked eye, it is only visible through binoculars or night vision goggles. Store in a cool, dry place, inside its original packaging until use.
