Opened flat, it serves as an improvised seat or insulation mat, and an additional pocket accommodates a second mat. The beavertail flap detaches to form a supplemental bag: it features three AR/AK magazine pouches and a pocket that holds the included pistol holster, compatible with the Versatile Insert System.
