The Ambush is an assault pack designed for outings lasting several hours: enough space to carry water, rations, a warm layer, and essential gear, without the bulk of a bivouac pack. The top pocket is velvet-lined to hold optics or a night-vision device without risk of scratching. The beavertail flap swallows a helmet or camouflage netting, and then rolls away into its flat compartment when no longer needed. The two side pockets accommodate a water bottle or magazines, and an internal sleeve holds a hydration bladder. It is part of the Guardian modular system, allowing it to evolve with the rest of your equipment.
