NFM
NFM Collection - Norwegian military equipment
NFM was founded in 1996 in Norway by four National Guard soldiers. Their standard-issue vests were uncomfortable and impractical, so they sewed their own. The Norwegian Army, interested in their work, funded their development, and the first vest was released in 1998.
The company is headquartered in Ski, Norway. Today, it produces helmets, bulletproof vests, load-bearing systems, and the GARM combat clothing range, named after the hellhound in Norse mythology.
At Outpost, the collection features GARM items made from flame-retardant (FR) fabric: the GARM 2.0 balaclava, the lightweight beanie, and two fleece beanies, including a short version.
It also includes the Khard light pouch with visor, a 50 mm Khard Velcro strip, and NIR paint, which reduces the signature in the near-infrared spectrum.
