EDC Flashlights
EDC Flashlights
The flashlight you carry every day, not the one that stays in your bag. Keychain, pants pocket, or pocket clip format, with a battery life measured in days of light use rather than hours of full power.
Lumens measure the amount of light emitted, candela its concentration. An EDC flashlight favors the former: you want to illuminate a lock, a bag, or a doorway, not project light two hundred meters away. The real daily criterion remains the interface, which must be operable with one hand.
