Helinox

Helinox Collection - ultralight camping furniture

Helinox was not born in furniture but in tent poles. The brand belongs to DAC, the Korean manufacturer that supplies poles to a large part of the camping industry. When DAC applied its expertise in aluminum tubing to furniture, the result redefined the acceptable weight for a camp chair.

At the heart of the matter is the TH72M alloy, developed by DAC with the Alcoa technical center. It can be extruded thinner than standard alloys without cracking: this is what allows for lighter structures with equal strength. Helinox is the only outdoor furniture brand to use it.

The assembly principle is the same across the entire range: segments connected by an internal elastic cord assemble themselves, the fabric clips on, and the whole thing goes back into a case the size of a bottle.

The collection brings together Chair One and Chair Zero chairs, tables, Cot One cots, field desks, and accessories.
