Gerber Collection - Knives and Tools

Gerber was founded in 1939 in Portland, Oregon. Joseph Gerber, who ran an advertising agency, gave handmade kitchen knives to his clients for the holidays. Demand was so high that he started his own cutlery company.

The brand later equipped American soldiers and established itself in the outdoor market with its knives and multi-tools. Today, it is part of the Finnish Fiskars group and still manufactures some of its tools in Portland.

At Outpost, the collection features knives: the StrongArm fixed-blade knife, with smooth or serrated blades, the LMF II infantry knife, the Prodigy, and folding knives such as the EVO, Curve, Swagger, and E-Z Out.

It also includes the Multi-Plier 40, 600, and 800 Legend multi-tools, Center-Drive and Lockdown Drive screwdrivers, the Gator axe, a folding shovel, a machete, and a strap cutter.
