Front Runner Collection - Roof Racks and 4x4 Equipment

Front Runner was founded in 1999 in South Africa. Its founders, a group of friends with backgrounds in engineering, design, and off-road racing, were tired of seeing their gear break during expeditions. They started by making roof racks capable of withstanding corrugated metal tracks, river crossings, and weeks of vibrations.

Production is still based near Johannesburg. The brand is now part of the Swedish group Dometic.

Its flagship product is the Slimline II rack, made of T6 aluminum with a black epoxy coating and 3CR12 stainless steel hardware. It is available in vehicle-specific versions for hundreds of vehicles: Toyota, Land Rover, Jeep, Ford, Mercedes-Benz, Fiat, Peugeot, and many more.

A whole range of accessories can be attached to the rack: bed racks for pickups, wind deflectors, ladders, mounts for awnings, jerry cans, shovels, or lighting, sliding trays, and camping tables that store under the rack.
