BioLite

BioLite Collection - Off-Grid Light and Energy

BioLite was founded in 2006 in Brooklyn by Jonathan Cedar and Alec Drummond, two engineers who had met at a New York design agency. Their initial idea: a small wood stove that also produces electricity.

This stove, the CampStove, was released in 2012. In the meantime, the founders realized that their technology could serve families living without electricity. Since then, BioLite has been a social enterprise that designs the same type of products for hikers and off-grid villages.

At Outpost, the collection is first and foremost about light: rechargeable AlpenGlow lanterns, inflatable solar Luci lanterns, solar string lights, Solar Flexlight lamp, and rechargeable headlamps.

On the energy side, you'll find solar panels like the SolarPanel 5+, power banks and their cables, and for cooking, stoves and the KettlePot pot with a coffee press.
